First of all, a huge thank you to everybody involved in this year's Northern Classic Trial; whether marshals, organisers, or competitors. We have published our final results, and they can be found under the "Northern Classic Trial" tab. We had trouble organising this year's trial due to all of the flooding, so it is fantastic that so many of you came over to the lakes and helped to assist the repairs. For every competitor we have put £2 towards the flood repairs, plus a donation from the club. We hope you enjoyed this year's trial and look forward to seeing you all next year, for the 2017 Northern Classic Trial!

We have closed the 2016 trial to further entries, and emailed all competitors the final instructions. The trial is making good progress and we are all as good as ready for the 20th. If you need any further help email [email protected] , and we'll try to help you. Results should be made available on Monday 22nd February.
A team of seven ventured into the forests where many of our sections are located. Generally speaking the storm damage wasn't as bad as we had feared. One of our new sections required work to fill in a deep gully in the access track and the removal of a tree across the route. Another section has three large fallen trees across the access track, Forestry Commission have this in hand. We tested a couple of the other sections to check whether to give them restarts or not. It is all systems go for the 20th February.
