Every Year Club Members take it in turns to organise a "Treasure Hunt". These are great fun weekends where members and friends of the club have a wonderful drive through the countryside, enjoy the sights, and solve cunning clues devised by the organisers. In 2013 Chris and Diane organised "The Trail of The Pendle Witches", around Lancashire which was greatly enjoyed by everyone.

In 2015 we all thoroughly enjoyed Chris and Diane's "The Old 3 Counties Run" which toured the "new" county of Cumbria which was previously, Lancashire, Cumberland, and Westmorland. On this run we were delighted to be generously sponsored by Bendles Solicitors Of Carlisle and Kentdale Landrovers Of Kendal

2017 saw us in the North Yorks Moors National Park. The overnight was in the village of Rosedale Abbey. The Saturday treasure hunt route, of approximately 58 miles, took in highlights such as: Danby Beacon, Grosmont, Beck Hole and Goathland. The Sunday route included a visit to the National Centre for Birds of Prey in Helmsley and ended up at the Buck Inn in Chop Gate.

Then in 2018, we journeyed to Cumbria and Lancashire for our sixth treasure hunt weekend. It was the third time Chris and Diane had organised the weekend event, and every time they raise the bar. The Saturday route followed the route of the Carlisle to Settle Railway, stopping at stations on the line for cunning clues, and crossing the line an impressive 25 times!

2019 saw us ‘Dallying in the Dales’. Chris and David Chamberlin devised two super routes from the CB Inn in Arkengarthdale. The Treasure Hunt on Saturday took us through wonderful scenery and villages. Sunday, to Bowes Museum for a guided tour and on to the Teesdale Hotel in Middleton in Teesdale for our farewell lunch.
