Dallying in the Dales 2020

2019 saw us in Yorkshire, ‘Dallying in the Dales’. Chris and David Chamberlin devised two super routes from the CB Inn in Arkengarthdale. The Treasure Hunt on Saturday took us through wonderful scenery, including Buttertubs Pass and villages such as Askrigg, Castle Bolton and Middleham where we had to find the answers to questions. On Sunday we drove, via the 188 year old Grade 2* suspension bridge at Whorlton, to Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle for a guided tour. Then on to the Teesdale Hotel in Middleton in Teesdale for our farewell lunch.
